Dogs At Play...

Our new puppy is rapidly adjusting to life in the Nguyen Household.  Chloe is finally starting to enjoy her company!

Our little fur-ball is now 2  years old!  We love this little mutt-face and have had so much fun with her over the last two years.  She is definitely part of the family, I can't image our home without her.

The girls were really bored, so they decided to dress-up the dog. Poor Chloe! What a good sport, she loved every minute of it.

Last Week of February

It's finally the last week of February! I think this has been the longest winter ever. I can't wait for some warm weather and some sunshine, bring on SPRING! We have had a really busy month. We are still loving our new car. Olivia finally got her braces. Damon still needs to be bribed to go to school everyday. Jassy is getting quite a personality. She keeps us in stitches. Chloe just got spayed, and by spayed I mean gutted. I thought for a dog, they just tied a few tubes. No, they gave her a full hysterectomy. She's a trooper though and was up and jumping in a matter of days. Here is a video of her saying "Mama." DON'T FORGET TO PAUSE MUSIC.

She also says "I Love You." I haven't got that on tape yet, maybe when she is back to her playful self.

John is doing awesome! His company is finally up and running and all his hard work is finally paying off.

I have been really busy with a "Lighting Workshop." I've been doing a ton of photo projects and learning new methods of editing. All my free time goes to this workshop, hence why I haven't been blogging much lately. I've learned some new techniques on capturing light. I can't even tell you how excited I am for some sunshine so I can take pictures using what I have learned!

March doesn't appear to be slowing down much. Stay tuned for a video of Jassy shaking her tail feather!

Chloe's Photo Shoot

Today I had to give Chloe another bath, so I thought it would be fun to take some pictures while she was clean and fluffy. She doesn't stay clean for long. She practically swims in her food dishes and always walks through her own urine, not on purpose it's just that her legs are so small she has no choice.

She would not sit still for anything, so Damon tried holding her. (By the throat)

She is 8 1/2 weeks old now and can go up and down the stairs. She no longer sounds like a cat, and loves jumping off the furniture and chasing the kids. Olivia couldn't be prouder of her little growing pup.

Puppy Love!

Our puppy turned 7 weeks old yesterday. She has been so much fun. She is a little confused about her identity though. Her Mom abandoned her when she was 3 weeks old. The lady that bred her also had a litter of Persian Cats, the Mama Cat took over feeding the liter of Shih Tzu's when their mom wouldn't take care of them anymore. Chloe now meows and occasionally purrs like a cat. She even plays like a kitten and leaps off the furniture like a cat would. Even though we are not "cat people" we still think she is adorable.
