The kids have been off track for the last two weeks. There have been a lot of fights, a lot of crying, and a lot of mess making. I tried to schedule an activity each day they were home, but that's not easy since they all like different things. The hardest part was having them all home and having to stay indoors because of the weather. I'm used to running errands with just one kid but for the last two weeks I've had to haul three kids with me everywhere I go. One day we spent the afternoon going from errand to errand when our van ran out of gas on a busy street not to far from our house. We were stranded for about half an hour until John could get to us. We think the gas meter on our van is broken because there was no alarm or light to let me know the gas was low. I swear everything breaks this time of year. We did manage to go to the movies a few times and the park every time the weather was decent. Olivia took Chloe down the slide a few times and before we knew it she was going down the slide all by herself. Sometimes I think she thinks she's one of the kids.
OH NO! Running out of gas! That is terrible. I am with you and dread long school breaks. Luckily our summer will be broken up with the red heads going to VA for 3 weeks. Hope that helps!
