The kids are loving school and I am loving the three hours that I get to myself each day. I have to admit it took some getting used to. I can count the times I've been alone on one hand over the last 14 years. I just finished a round of photography workshops and have been crafting to my little heart's content! Three hours sounds like a lot of time, but with volunteering and running errands, it's over before I know it.
The kids have been busy with friends, dance, video games, church, and religious education. Damon should be making his First Communion this year! We are really excited that our new church should be finished by Christmas! Jassy and Liv both got awards from school. Liv for always being on task and Jassy got one for being helpful to the teacher. They will be going off-track soon.
John of course is staying busy with work and now goes into the office in the afternoon (YAY!) Don't get me wrong, I love that he is self-employed, but some space is nice. He has been playing football and basketball and is always banged up and brusied from trying to keep up with the younger guys. LOL.
I am looking forward to having our family pictures taken by Maggie Holmes in a few weeks. I have been shopping like crazy trying to get outfits together. I decided to make a skirt for Jassy and it turned out pretty cute. I also made a few accessories for me and Liv to match Jassy's skirt. I put in a lot of time and effort into everyone's outfit so I'm really hoping that our pictures turn out!
Sounds like you are a happy busy family! Can't wait to see the new family pictures. I am sure they will be awesome. Isn't it exhausting trying to get it all together?
