30 Days of Gratitude

I found this project online and thought it would be a great project for us to do as a family. It's also a great way to teach the kids that they need to be more thankful.

We printed out these fun shapes that we cut and glued into little envelopes. There is an envelope for each day of the month of November. Each envelope holds a card that you list the five things that you are thankful for that day.

Olivia filled a card out for the first day and Jassy filled out a card for the second day.  Damon will fill out the card for today and then from here on out we will fill the cards out together as a family each night.  I also made an extra envelope with a cute sentiment that came with the project!

Experts say that it takes 30 days to form a new habit.  Acknowledging our blessings and taking a moment to express gratitude can changes lives.  Even if it doesn't change or circumstance, it changes our outlook, and that makes all the difference.
