An Elf, a Snowflake, and a Grinning Grouch.
With all the exciting things that went on yesterday in Olivia's day, she also lost a tooth. I reminded her to put it under her pillow last night when I kissed her good night, but then I forgot all about it. I wasn't feeling to well yesterday. I think I have a touch of the flu, or maybe it's a case of Christmas Exhaustion. I stayed home all day yesterday just trying to catch up to myself. Olivia awoke this morning crying and devastated that the Tooth Fairy didn't make it to our house. How ironic the Tooth Fairy didn't make it to our house on the same night that I was sick. Go Figure! So in trying to calm Olivia down I went to her bed to do my own inspection and a dollar bill "magically appeared" when I lifted the pillow. I guess she was to busy to get the tooth but did leave a dollar. Olivia was so happy that the Tooth Fairy didn't forget about her. She was able to pull herself together and to get ready for school. Another tragedy prevented!
That has happened with our tooth fairy as well. She has also been known to come while the little ones are in the shower. I am exhausted today! I think us mom's need a spa day after doing Christmas!
