Boondocks

Today was supposed to be our day to do chores and run errands; but with weather like this, who could resist being outside doing something fun? So we took the kids to Boondocks and opted to do chores later.

They drove the boats.

They drove the cars.

The older ones played Laser Tag and watched three 4D movies, while Jas and I hit the playground.

Jassy got a bit irritable so I took her home for a short nap while the older kids and Daddy played games at the arcade and rode a few more rides. The kids loved trading their hard earned tickets for some really fun prizes. I have to admit I was impressed with the prizes they got to choose from. After about two hours we picked them up and went to dinner. Now it is time to get on those chores and start planning our week that's ahead of us. We have a short week because of the UEA break but it's a busy one, so far my Monday is going a little something like this:

7:00 get older kids dressed and ready for school/pack lunches

8:00 bus stop/wake Jasmine and get her ready for school and her picture day

9:00 take Jasmine to school while guessing which way won't have construction
9:15 get dressed/make hair apt.

9:30 volunteer in Damon's class

11:00 pick Jassy up

11:15 lunch

12:00 clean the house which means mopping, vacuuming, dusting, dishes,laundry

3:45 meet kids at bus stop

after that I have to cook dinner, homework,baths, etc...

Don't even get me started about Tuesday's To-Do List, ughhh! But at least we had a fun day today, and I am so excited about the long weekend coming up.
