Mother/Daughter Shoot

Yesterday I took my sister Yvette and her daughter Vanessa to Gardner Village for a photo shoot.

The only time we could all go was 1PM, needless to say the sun worked against us. It was really hot so we were all melting, but they were good sports and let me pose them anyway I wanted.

Gardner Village is such a cute place, although I wouldn't recommend it for Family Portraits. There is always a crowd so trying to get a shot without some strange person in your background can be challenging. Not to mention, the village is surrounded by parking lots so you have the added challenge of not photographing random vehicles. I really love to visit Gardner Village but I am removing it for my "Locations List." :( I took a few minutes to check-out the Photography Studio they have there and was amazed by their work. They are called Highlite Photography, and after spending just a few minutes in their studio, I couldn't help but to beg the owner for an internship of some kind. I would love to get the hands-on experience. I'll let you know if they ever give in. ;)
Please leave your feedback, I'd love to know what I can do to improve my photos.
Yvette & Vanessa : I had fun, thanks for letting me take your pictures. I hope you like them.
